METRO MEMPHIS BCM
Are you one of the almost 27,000 non-University of Memphis college students in the metro area?
Are you a Christian who wants to grow in your relationship with Jesus, engage your classmates with your faith, and serve in missions?
Are you not a Christian, but interested in exploring Jesus with your peers?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, then BCM is for you.
Small groups are primary way that we gather together on campus. We currently have four groups that meet on two campuses of Southwest:
Tuesdays @ 9:00
Wednesdays @ 9:30
Thursdays @ 12:30
*All Macon Cove groups meet in one of the study rooms in the library on the second floor.
Wednesdays @ 10
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A SMALL GROUP?
In short, community and conversation. Our hope is that visiting one of our small groups will feel like coming home. We strive to create environments in which everyone is welcome, conversation is open, and your are encouraged to follow Jesus more closely.
Whether you're a long-time Christian looking for community or someone who doesn't consider yourself to be a Christian, we hope you will find open arms, graceful conversation, and encouragement to pursue Christ more closely on campus.
This semester, we will be discussing Jesus' life and teachings together in the Gospel of Mark. Don't have a Bible? Don't worry! We have extra copies of Mark that we are happy to give you.
Want to get involved in a group, but not free on any of the days we meet on your campus? Contact Benjie, the BCM's director, at the button below to ask about other options.
